3 - About NaturTech Formula: A recipe combining various ingredients.
Blended herbal formulas contain a combination of carefully selected herbs where the main ingredients are reinforced by others to maximize the synergy of the herbs. Our extracts are made using pure grain-sourced ethanol or pure kosher vegetable-sourced glycerine.

4 - Formulation Abbreviations Understanding Dosage Ratios
A herbal extract is prepared using herbs that are extracted in some form of menstruum or liquid. The dried or fresh herbs are combined with alcohol, and then the solid matter is removed leaving only the oils of the herbs mixed with the alcohol. This process is called extraction.
All extracts should have a ratio printed on the label. When dry herbs are used to make the extract the ratio is listed as just a ratio. When fresh herbs are used the ratio is expressed as a ratio with the word Fresh after. The ratio does not indicate the amount of the herb in the bottle, rather the menstruum used in making the extract.

1000mg dried herb : 5ml of menstruum 1000mg fresh herb : 1ml of menstruum so each 5ml dose contains 1000mg of herb so each 1ml dose contains 1000mg of herb Most herbs when dried from fresh are 20% of the weight, so a 1:1 fresh is similar to 1:5 dried.
Children's Dosage Information
The cap of a 100ml and 250ml bottle can be used to measure when a dropper is not available; these caps provide a measure of approximately 1 tsp (5ml). Product often pours much better into the cap than a spoon.
There are several formulas for calculating children's dosages. The example here follows Clark's Rule:
Example of a child weighing 30 pounds = 0.2 lbs X 2.5 ml = 0.5 ml or 10 Drops This rule is based upon the relative weight of the child as compared with the weight of the average adult.
The average weight of the adult is taken to be 150 pounds.
Always check the cautions and contraindications regarding children, pregnant women,
women who are breastfeeding, and women intending to conceive.
